CHILD SPONSORSHIP INITIATIVE
| As part of our ongoing commitment to international health and particulary to children's health, EnSIGN has sponsored a child from Uganda for the past 4years. His name is Josesph Kagimu, an 8 year old boy from Uganda. Affected by HIV/AIDS, a history of civil conflicts, and vicious cycles of poverty, many children born in Uganda don't have it easy and struggle to live a comfortable and healthy childhood. Access to clean water, basic foods, shelter and basic literacy and numerical skills are things that the Ugandan child will have to struggle for. Many of these things we would take for granted. Through the funding sent through to Joseph, he has been able to gain access to water and food, sanitation and basic education. His future is brighter, and we hope he has the opportunities to grow and lead in his country. |
