EnSIGN is excited to annouce the commencement of The Global Health Short Course in 2010. The Short Course has been initiated in response to overwhelming student feedback for the need for more tangible and practical teachings in global health. Inspirational and motivational speakers are great, but practical workshops are invaluable for life - that is what the Global Health Short Course aims to achieve.
We will be having guest speakers and workshops in different areas, such as global health issues overviews, approaches to dealing with international health issues, primary health care models, disaster management, Indigenous health, and medical science sessions in diagnosing and treating prevalent epidemic and pandemic diseases.
Each session will be held at the the BamBi Seminar Room at the Peter Baume Building, commencing at 5pm.
