PROJECT:
ANU-UOW GLOBAL HEALTH DEBATE
In 2010, ANU participated in its second and inaugral Global Health Debate! The debate is in alliance with medical students at the University of Wollongong (UOW). 'Alliance' may not be the appropriate word, as this debate is likely to be a vocal fued and cage match that will set a tradition for coming years. The debate will invite guest adjudicators who are experts in the topic of debate. The debate will of the highest quality, and will be a great opportunity for students to research global health topics, verbalise and present their ideas and defend their views in the debate. EnSIGN and UOW are excited about this joint venture, and this year, ANU will be hosting!
The 2010 debate topic is: Should HIV/AIDS positive patients be denied permanent residency status in Australia?
Congratulations to ANU representative Kyra Clifton, Scott Mills and Nemika Ramanayake for winning the 2010 Debate!

If you would like to get involved or to find out more information, please contact the EnSIGN GHN Representative Joseph Choi (u4787053@anu.edu.au)
