07.07.2010   ANU students part of EnSIGN travelled to Hobart for the annual AMSA Global Health Conference. It was held from 1 - 4 July in beautiful Tasmania. The conference that is about global health issues included guest speakers, workshops, team challenges and panel discussions. Topics discussed ranged from HIV/AIDs to disaster management to Indigenous health, as well as the impact of climate change on health. Over 400 students attended from across Australia and New Zealand which was very exciting. The conference not only included an academic program, but also a packed social calendar for the big nights out in Hobart. Next year's GHC will be in Sydney, and if this year's GHC is anything to go by, we wouldn't miss it for the world, and we hope many more ANU students can be part of it. If you want to learn more about the GHC, visit ghc2010.amsa.org.au/home/
